Don't need to run (red or blue) wires to trailer plug at the rear bumper, because Toyota already ran the wires to the trailer plug in factory.

Don't need a diode on the brake signal because Toyota already fitted a diode in factory.

Prerequisite: A 7 pin or 12 pin trailer harness needs to be fitted to make brake controller work!  Click here to purchase 7 pin trailer towing harness if the trailer plug has not been fitted.
