My Alarm Kit, pre-ordered from July 19, 2025, was our first solution. It's designed to counter the silent entry by activating your car's horns, hazard lights and kill switches the moment an unauthorized unlock is attempted.

Today, we're introducing the OBD Kit, a solution for the second stage of car theft. This kit disables your OBD port when your car is turned off, making it very hard for a thief to reprogram a key until you car is turned on. This renders their hacking device useless.

In general, Alarm Kit is a pre-entry defense and OBD Kit is a post-entry defense. Both can be installed to provide layered protection for your vehicle.

Compatibility: The OBD Kit and Alarm Kit are designed to work independently and will not affect each other. Both can be installed to provide layered protection for your vehicle. These two kits won’t affect other security kits either.

Device Impact: The OBD Kit will not interfere with devices that are plugged into the OBD port, such as a Scan Gauge 3. A Scan Gauge 3 already worked flawlessly in a LC300 during a four-week trial.

Set It and Forget It: Your daily driving experience will not change at all. There are no pin codes to enter, and no extra buttons to press — the kit works completely automatically.

Minor Inconvenience: The only drawback is that you must turn on your vehicle to run diagnostics through the OBD port. Since you have your keys, this is not an issue.

Security Level: While no security system is 100% foolproof, this kit is effective, difficult and time-consuming to bypass.

Why do you develop two different kits? The Alarm Kit was my original plan, but its development was delayed. So, I made the OBD Kit to give owners an immediate protection while they waited.

Which kit should I buy / fit? Sorry for confusing to choose between the two kits.

The OBD Kit is a post-entry defense. Its purpose is to stop the second stage of theft — key reprogramming. It works by disabling the OBD port when the car is off, making a thief's key copying device useless.

Since the Alarm Kit is expected in October 2025, you can choose to purchase the OBD Kit for immediate protection while you wait. However, for the most secure, layered defense against both methods of theft, it is best to install both kits.

Damage on door: Unfortunately, I cannot prevent somebody drilling a hole in your door, but as more and more cars are equipped with security kits, they become significantly more difficult to steal. Thieves will likely turn their attention to other, less-protected vehicles, ultimately, there will be less holes drilled.
